Only five examples are being produced for the North American market.
Nobody loves Land Rovers and Range Rovers as much as Overfinch, with the tuner having created some of the most stunning - and expensive - iterations of the classic SUVs through the years. Although the company was founded back in 1975, Overfinch has only been in North America for a much shorter five years.
To celebrate its fifth anniversary in the states, the company has unveiled the Sandringham Edition Range Rover LWB. Based on the already opulent Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography LWB, only five of these limited edition models will be produced. The news comes as the Land Rover Range Rover celebrates its own anniversary this year - 50 years, no less!
With its Nebula Black paint finish and a hand-crafted interior finished in Capiz White, it's a menacing-looking vehicle that makes even more of a first impression than the standard model. The paint itself features a purple fleck with the effect changing when exposed to direct light.
Added to this, the exterior features Overfinch lettering along with a carbon-fiber body styling conversion, exposed carbon fiber for the front grille, a unique front bumper/fender set, and wing blades for the fender side vents. At the back, there are Overfinch-engraved tailpipes along with a carbon-fiber roof spoiler.
About those tailpipes, they form part of a variable valve exhaust system linked to a Bluetooth controller to tailor the V8 engine's acoustics. Of course, it's hard to miss those 22-inch Centaur diamond-turned alloy wheels.
The stunning cabin is swathed in soft leather wherever you look, with the material covering the seats, armrests, and even the headlining. The Capiz White color scheme is contrasted with Calluna leather finishes along with Argento pinstripe veneers. Details like the contrast micro-piping are reminders that you're sitting in something special. Features include 24-way heated/cooled/massaging front seats along with Executive Class Comfort Plus rear seats.
These rear pews include heated calf rests and there are deep-pile sheepskin carpets. Illuminated Overfinch sill plates are fitted, while precision-machined enhancements apply to the door handles, rotary gear selector, and other elements.
Power isn't in short supply since the standard Range Rover Autobiography LWB comes with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine with 518 horsepower. Such exclusivity and luxury come at the considerable cost of $315,000 before taxes, putting the Overfinch Sandringham Edition within reach of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Then again, this is no ordinary Land Rover - and it's certainly no ordinary SUV.
"This is a statement vehicle that is confident in its luxury and elegant in its execution," said Alex Sloane, Vice President of Overfinch North America.
