Of all the models that Kia sells in North America, the Telluride is one of its most valuable. It's not only been a strong seller for the Korean marque since its launch but demand is such that dealerships have taken chances with some outrageous Telluride markups. Sales figures don't always align with capability, though, so it's good to see that the 2021 Telluride is also our top-rated eight-seater SUV together with the Hyundai Palisade. All of this means that any upgrades to the Telluride are a big deal and we now have some new information and leaked images of the 2022 Telluride.

The latest information was shared via the Korean Car Blog. In the leaked images, we can see that the 2022 Telluride doesn't look all that different from the distinctive current model, with the major change being the adoption of the all-new Kia logo. The Nightfall Edition - which appears to be the version pictured above - will come with a new design for its wheel caps and emblems. This model comes with a more aggressive grille and black exterior design elements. While the LX has a gloss black front grille with chrome trim, the S, EX, and SX models will get satin chrome trim for the grille. Other than that, the 2022 Telluride looks much like the current model.

There's more change when it comes to the Telluride's specification, though. The 10.25-inch touchscreen interface will now be standard on all trims, whereas the lower trims used to have a smaller eight-inch touchscreen. All trims will also now have dual-zone automatic climate control with rear automatic temperature control plus navigation. Across the lineup, navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with a Curve function and Highway Driving Assist will be standard. The S trim gains wireless phone charging. For now, there is no indication of exactly when the 2022 Telluride will arrive or what pricing will be but we have little doubt that it will continue to do well in the US.
