In case you've been living under a moon rock, the GMC Hummer EV has a bit of a space theme, exemplified by easter eggs throughout the car. The speaker covers map-out the moon's Sea of Tranquility, the spot where Apollo 11 landed in 1969. The face of the gauge cluster will also show the surface of the moon in certain drive modes. There are even tiny astronaut footprints if you know where to look on the massive EV SUV.

So, it's fitting that the list of colors continues that outer space theme. Aside from the truck's white and black astronaut looks. That paint color, by the way, is called Interstellar White. Things only get spacier from there.

GM Authority uncovered the full list of colors for the new EV truck. In total, GMC will offer eight colors. We're sure that list is subject to change, but for now, this is what you're getting if you want to spend six figures on the EV truck. The colors for the Hummer EV are as follows: Afterburner Tintcoat (orange), Deep Aurora Metallic (dark bronze), Interstellar White, Meteorite Metallic (grey), Moonshot Green Matte (this is the color we see on the SUV), Supernova Metallic (dark blue), Tide Metallic (blue), and Void Black.

We're particularly curious about Deep Aurora Metallic and Afterburner Tintcoat. Both sound like they could be seriously unique options on an already unique (if not slightly controversial) truck.

Unfortunately, we don't have any details on pricing at this time. GMC simply hasn't revealed it, and no sources have come forward. We don't even have photos of the colors just yet. Regardless, we do know that both Interstellar White and Void Black are going to be no-cost colors. The others will cost extra cash but just based on the names alone, they sound worth it.

Moonshot Green Metallic, which we've seen on the SUV (and is pictured above), will cost a pretty penny. At least, we're betting it will, as GM Authority reports the color will be available in extremely limited numbers. Frankly, as neat as it is, matte paint can be a huge hassle to care for. You can't use conventional cleaning and detailing methods, though we doubt the people spending the money on these trucks (at sticker or huge markup) are worried about who washes their truck.
