Just a few days ago, the 2020 BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe leaked in all its glory before the official debut, and it's quite possibly the best-looking BMW we've seen in a long time. While the photos only showed the stunning exterior, new images posted by GermanCarForum give us a first look inside the new 8 Series Gran Coupe's cabin.

Unsurprisingly, it looks nearly identical to 8 Series Coupe and 8 Series Convertible, but that's no bad thing. The dashboard looks instantly familiar, as does the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch infotainment system, and brushed metallic trim that adorning the dashboard and doors.

This particular Gran Coupe shown in the leaked photos features a two-tone leather interior in cream and dark blue. The upper half of the dashboard is covered in leather while the headliner gets the Alcantara treatment.

While the car features a 2+2 seating configuration, it seems likely that BMW will eventually offer the 8 Series Gran Coupe in a five-seat layout as well like it did with the 6 Series Gran Coupe, particularly as three seat belts can be seen on the rear seats. In the 2+2 version, a center console between the two rear seats features air vents, controls for the climate control system, and two USB ports. Since the 8 Series Gran Coupe features a longer wheelbase than the coupe and convertible, rear seat passengers will have considerably more legroom.

BMW will officially pull the covers off the 8 Series Gran Coupe on June 25 at an event held at the BMW Welt in Munich, while the car's public debut will most likely take place at the 2019 Frankfurt Auto Show in September, where we may also see a concept car previewing the next BMW M3.

The 8 Series Gran Coupe will feature the same engine range as the 8 Series Coupe and Convertible, meaning the US will receive an M850i xDrive variant with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. Also expect it to be the most expensive 8 Series yet, costing more than the $111,900 M850i xDrive Coupe and $121,400 Convertible.
