Turns out they’ve been hiding in plain sight all along.

To ease the long and arduous wait for the mid-engine C8 Corvette to arrive, Chevrolet has a surprise in store for us this week. Unfortunately for Chevrolet, that surprise has been spoiled. We already knew the automaker was planning to unveil a new special edition C7 Corvette at Daytona's Rolex 24 event on January 25, but a photo sent to Corvette Blogger has revealed there will be not one, but four special edition models – and they've been hiding in plain sight all along.

The photo was found on the Daytona International Speedway app, which confirms the new special edition Corvette will be called the "2019 Corvette Grand Sport Driver Series."

Photographs by Corvette Blogger also show that three of the four cars have been parked at the Chevrolet Experience Center at Daytona since the Roar Before the Rolex 24 three-day test took place.

Four separate models are pictured with Corvette Racing drivers Oliver Gavin, Jan Magnussen, Tommy Milner and Antonio Garcia, who helped design each model's exclusive livery. From left to right, the first model is finished in Shadow Gray with a red hood vent and red stinger graphic, while the second has an Arctic White finish with a Long Beach Red full-length body stripe.

The third model is finished in Elkhart Lake Blue with a Silver full-length body stripe. Finally, the fourth special edition model features a Corvette Racing Yellow exterior with a Black stinger graphic. Each car will also come with a commemorative interior plaque.

According to the app, the Grand Sport Driver Series features "All Corvette Grand Sport Equipment," which suggests each model will likely only be available with the 3LT Equipment Package. Being based on the Corvette Grand Sport, the Driver Series cars will pack a 6.2-liter V8 with 460 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque under the hood. The official reveal will take place on Friday, January 25 at 11:30 am at the Chevrolet Experience Center.
