Photos have just come into the CarBuzz offices of what appears to be the Toyota FT-86 (known in the States as the Scion FR-S) taken from a brochure in Japan. This story comes on the heels of the 2012 Subaru Impreza Sedan and Sport Hatch being leaked in a similar way. The FT-86 in this brochure is known as the Modellista in the JDM, the version built by Toyota's in-house customization company and these photos depict a car in line with what we have seen from test mules running around Europe lately.

The coupe features several unique features that won't make it to the base FT-86, such as an aerodynamics kit equipped with a front spoiler, two-piece rear apron and thick side skirts. The Modellista sits on a set of lightweight alloy wheels. Though powertrain details weren't divulged in the brochure, it does contain the first photos of the Toyota FT-86's interior. The driver-focused interior features black leather with red trim, which looks pretty updated. So tell us, are you satisfied with the Japanese motor company's latest edition of the popular model? Let us know after scoping out the scanned photos.
