There are numerous manufacturers that offer advanced driving courses for customers to get to know their cars better and are usually the reserve of well-established performance brands. Now, Hyundai has recently launched its own advanced driving course that falls in line with its push to be a large player in the performance hatchback market. Cars such as the Veloster N which has been spied with a larger 300 hp engine, are leading Hyundai's charge to become known as a brand with hot offerings, and rumors of a new Genesis Coupe and a smaller i20 N are helping to stoke the flames.

The new one-day driving experience, based in Germany, offers drivers the opportunity to get behind the wheel of cars such as the Veloster N, Kona Electric, and Ioniq.

The driving experience is set to launch in July at the Blister Berg track near Bad Driburg in Germany, and Hyundai Motor is planning to make this event a regular series at both Blister Berg and the Nurburgring. Till Wartenberg, vice president of N Brand Management and Motorsport at Hyundai believes that this effort will shine a light on Hyundai's ability to build true performance cars: "The race track is not only the ideal place to realize the dynamic potential of our cars, it is also the best place to train the precision that is needed to master any driving situation in everyday life."

The Hyundai Driving Experience is aimed at hobby drivers and amateur motorsport enthusiasts who want to hone their skills and will teach them to control their vehicles in a wide range of driving conditions.

More experienced drivers will also get a chance to learn something new under the Level 1 program which consists of a series of track events which include advanced maneuver training such as full braking at 100 km/h while cornering, and following the correct racing line. Hyundai will also focus on its E-Experience, which is dedicated to training drivers with the Kona EV and Ioniq and aims to educate drivers on the technology behind these cars.

For those who would like to window shop, or understand fast-paced driving better, Hyundai offers the TCR race taxi experience which places participants in the passenger seat for a hot lap around the tracks at full speed. This experience is only offered to participants of the N-Experience and Track Experience Level 1 or Level 2. Pricing starts from approximately $111 per day.
