Lexus is applying the finishing touches to its M5 fighter.
The Lexus RC F is already throwing punches at the BMW M3, so the Japanese carmaker is now focused on getting the 2016 GS F in shape to take on the M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG. Spied undergoing testing in Europe, the new GS F appears to be getting a more aggressive front fascia with larger air intakes, prominent spindle grille and pronounced chin spoiler. Out back, we see the signature Lexus 'F' stacked quad exhaust system, a trunk lip spoiler, and an air diffuser between the exhaust outlets.
Other performance features include multi-spoke alloys, low-profile rubber, big brake rotors and large calipers. Power will come from a more potent version of the 5.0-liter V8 from the RC-F rated at somewhere between 500-550 horsepower.
