As Lexus continues to rollout new models that are actually not dull overpriced Toyotas, the Japanese automaker is also getting ready for next year's Super GT500 Series. What you're looking at is the new machine that will proudly wear the Lexus badge on the track. Based off the LF-CC Concept, the new racer will effectively replace the SC 430 in the series in 2014. Testing has already begun at the Suzuka track in Japan.

Although the road going LF-CC isn't due to the hit the market until sometime in 2015, the track version will arrive a few months earlier. It will ride on the same rear-wheel-drive platform as the GS and IS sedans. Word also has it that the racer will even have a hybrid setup taken directly from the GS350h. Engine wise, expect to see the GS's 3.5-liter V6 under the hood, but Lexus has yet to reveal full specs.
