After revealing the all-new 2019 Altima, Nissan has announced that reservations for the limited Edition One version of the midsize sedan will open on June 15 along with all other versions of the model. Slated to arrive in US dealers this fall, the 2019 Nissan Altima Edition One features exclusive 19-inch dark gray aluminum-alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, external ground lighting, illuminated kick plates and 'Edition One' badging and floormats. The limited launch model also comes with three years access to Nissan's Concierge service.

It features a 24/7 live assistant allowing owners to purchase tickets to events or make dinner reservations via smartphone, smartwatch or smart speaker apps. Based on the range-topping Altima Platinum VC-Turbo, the Edition One includes leather seats, a Bose premium audio system, moonroof, and ProPilot Assist, a "hands-on" semi-autonomous driving assist system. Three exterior colors will be available for the 2019 Nissan Altima Edition One: Scarlet Ember, Pearl White and Super Black. Customers who reserve the Edition One will also be rewarded with a choice of free gift selections including an Amazon Echo Show with Amazon Prime membership.

Other available gifts include a Bose Soundlink Revolve+ with Amazon Echo Dot and Amazon Prime membership, or Series 3 Apple Watch. Those who reserve a lesser model will get to choose from an Amazon Echo Spot, Bose Soundlink Revolve plus Amazon Echo Dot, or wireless Apple AirPod headphones. Powering the 2019 Nissan Altima is an updated 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque with optional all-wheel drive. Nissan also offers a new variable-compression 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 248 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque for the SR and Platinum trims. Both engines are paired with a CVT gearbox.
