2019 is Bentley's centenary year and to celebrate, the company created a very special version of its flagship sedan, the Mulsanne. It's called the Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner and it pays homage to the 8 Liter limousine used by Walter Owen Bentley himself. Bentley will only build 100 of them, each finished with a color split interior, body-colored wheels, and a drinks cabinet in the rear.

But having a special, one-of-100 car may not be enough for some wealthy owners, so Bentley has decided to offer a very special gift along with each Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner. Each owner will be presented with a special key case upon delivery, containing some unique items.

Each key case contains a bespoke 1:18 model of W.O.'s personal 1930 8 Liter car, which was created just for these 100 Mulsanne owners. Along with the model, the case contains a Flying 'B' paperweight, three car keys, and a printed brochure showing never-seen-before photos of the 1930 8 Liter. As an added touch to please owners and increase collector value at auction in 50 years time, the case also contains a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Bentley Chairman and CEO, Adrian Hallmark, and director of Design and Mulliner, Stefan Sielaff.

The 1:18 scale model looks remarkably detailed and even the case it comes in looks lovely. Bentley handcrafts the case from Dark Stained Burr Walnut and Piano Black veneer, which would not look out of place on the dashboard of a Mulsanne. Inside, the case features a pull tab made from Fireglow Heritage hide which matched the interior of the car.

As a finishing touch, the case is engraved with the years 1919-2019 to celebrate Bentley's 100th anniversary and the bottom features W.O.'s personal signature to commemorate the company's founder. This key case continues Bentley's tradition of offering extravagant options along with its limited-edition cars.
