Last year, the Bentley Continental GT smashed the production car record at Pikes Peak when driver Rhys Milen completed the challenging hill climb circuit in 10 minutes and 18.488 seconds. That was fast enough to beat his previous record, which was set in a Bentley Bentayga, of all things. To celebrate, Bentley is launching the new limited-edition Pikes Peak Continental GT.

Production of the Pikes Peak Continental GT began back in August, and now, the first customer examples have been delivered one year after the car was revealed. Limited to only 15 examples, customer cars are being delivered around the world in locations including Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, New Zealand, Latvia and the United Kingdom.

Five cars are being delivered to the US, heading out to buyers in New York, Florida, Michigan, California, and Nebraska. If you were hoping to add your name to the list, we've got some bad news: all 15 cars have already been sold.

Bentley gave customers the option of a striking Mountain Decal Event Livery to match the look of the exact car that set the new Pikes Peak record - an option that one third of all 15 buyers have selected. But even without the special livery, the Pikes Peak Edition is distinguishable from other, lesser Continental GTs by its carbon fiber body kit, Acid Green brake calipers, and available Radium by Mulliner paintwork.

The front lower bumper inserts, roof panel, wing mirrors and rear surfaces all feature gloss black detailing, while a Pikes Peak decal on the front fender highlights the car's racing roots. As standard, the Pikes Peak Edition rides on gloss black 22-inch wheels. An optional '100' grille was also made available, referencing Bentley's centenary year in 2019 - the year the record was set.

Inside, the luxurious cabin features Alcantara trim with Radium contrast stitching, which is also applied to the steering wheel and headrest to replicate the interior design of the Pikes Peak car. Like the standard car, the Pikes Peak Continental GT is powered by a twin-turbo W12 producing 626 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. This enables the Continental GT to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 207 mph.
