After last month's digital unveiling, Southern Comfort Automotive and Lingenfelter have unveiled a live version of the customized, off-road-geared Chevrolet Silverado. The Reaper is fitted with Fox Racing sports shocks, providing an additional 3-inches of ground clearance, and is also given a Lingenfelter exhaust and optional Magnuson TSV1900 supercharger. Both the 5.3- and 6.2-liter V-8 versions will ride on 17-inch beadlock wheels, with special appearance packages inside and out.

With the beastly F-150 Raptor no-longer available on the new model, the Reaper is set to take over this aggressive market segment, which has just gained another entry from Toyota's Tundra and Tacoma TRD line - also unveiled in Chicago. External trimmings for the Reaper include standard LED driving lights and integrated off-road beams, new fender and grille flares, hood design and bumpers. The truck will also gain special off-road tires and optional custom graphics, bespoke gauge packages and stitched headrests. Will this be enough to fill the boots of the epic Raptor?
