There will be nothing quite like it when it hits showrooms in the very near future. The latest Chevy Camaro and even the all-new Ford Mustang aren't quite as bad ass. Both are great, but the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Hemi, well, it may just be in a class all of its own. With more than 600 horsepower produced by its newly supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8, the Challenger Hellcat is for those who want the absolute closest thing to cars from an era when all that mattered was horsepower.

Fuel emissions weren't a concern then. But times are different now, and the Challenger Hellcat may sadly have a short lifespan. In the meantime, check out the video ahead and listen to this roar.
