It's almost here. Tomorrow is a big day for General Motors because this is when the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will officially be revealed to the world. The reveal will take place at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, where it will be displayed to the public until October 29.

If you can't make that, the new Z06 will also be shown off in an extended 30-minute online film titled Putting The World On Notice featuring basketball star Devin Booker and Corvette YouTuber Emelia Hartford. To get us excited Hartford has shared some new teaser videos of the Corvette Z06 on her Instagram page just one day before the big reveal.

In one video, we get to see a camouflaged prototype of the Z06 hooked up to a dyno in an "anechoic chamber where they spent countless hours perfecting the noise of the high revving engine," but Hartford stops short of revealing the engine details. However, reports suggest the new Z06 will be powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.5-liter V8 producing between 600 and 700 hp. Judging from a teaser trailer released last week, the flat-plane crank V8 will rev all the way up to 8,600 rpm.

If you want to know what that sounds like, Hartford has shared another video showing the Corvette Z06 revving up to the redline, and it sounds like a supercar. In other words, it sounds heavenly. It's so earth-shatteringly loud that Hartford has to cover her ears. "I can't wait to get one," she said. Considering it already sounds as good as this in stock form, we're curious to see how Hartford will improve it after she built one of the quickest C8 Corvette Stingrays in the world.

Back in June, the heavily modified C8 Corvette Stingray set a quarter-mile record with a time of 9.36 seconds at 147 mph, though this record has since been beaten.
