We've seen it tuned to almost 650 horsepower, but John Hennessey has turned things up a notch or ten with the HPE1000 Supercharged package for the Chevy Camaro Z/28. As the name suggests, the result is a boost in output from 500 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque to 1,000 hp at 7,000 rpm. Upgrades include forged pistons and rods, a beefed up crankshaft, a 2.9-liter supercharger system for the LSX 7.0-liter engine, high-flow intercoolers and fuel injectors, stainless-steel headers, dual-disc clutch upgrade, and upgraded valvetrain parts.

Modest styling upgrades extend to some carbon-fiber door sills, engine plaques and exterior badging. Check out the pics and listen to this thing roar on the dyno.
