If you're not familiar with Loder 1899, they are an up and coming German tuning firm that has just released a new project it's been working on, this time with Ford's new C-Max compact minivan. The tuners have added several upgrades, including an upgrade in performance and some aerodynamic improvements. The engine modifications to the 2.0-liter TDCi Turbocharged diesel four-pot sees an increase in output to 190-horsepower from its stock 163-horses.
This improvement allows the C-Max to spring to 62 mph in just 8.3 seconds, while the top speed rests at 132 mph. The other area of improvement was to the minivan's aerodynamics. The aerodynamic kit is installed complete with a front apron, rear apron with a diffuser, side skirts and a rear spoiler lip. The vehicle also received a stainless steel sport exhaust system and a suspension kit that sees the C-Max lowered. Loder 1899 also claims that the parts will also be suitable for the 7-seater version called the Grand C-Max.
