German tuning outfit has taken a S600 and turned it into a two-tone animal.
Dubbed the S70, Lorinser's latest creation was built to stick the proverbial two fingers up at Brabus. Starting out with a Mercedes-Benz S600, they added bigger turbochargers, a high performance exhaust, remapped the ECU and made some other tweaks. The result is 805hp and 937lb-ft of torque and a limited top speed of 186mph, which can be increased to 205mph upon request.
To keep all that power and torque from ripping the car to shreds, Lorinser reinforced the axles and differential, and to improve stability the car has been fitted with a set of matt black 20-inch RSK6 alloys wrapped in high-performance tires. While Lorinser may be able to match the levels of performance set by Brabus, stylistically they are no match for the acclaimed tuner. The two-tone paint job is pretty horrendous, and heavily distracts from the body kit consisting of front spoiler, side skirts and air dams, roof and boot-lid spoiler and rear diffuser.
A luxury interior includes two-tone Maybach Zeppelin colored Nappa leather upholstery, real wood trim and piano black trim. Other features include illuminated door sills and a speedometer that goes up to 224mph.
