The Lotus F1 Team is bringing a new member on board for the British Grand Prix this weekend: Batman. As part of a promotional campaign between the team and Warner Bros for the upcoming movie "The Dark Knight Rises", Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean will be wearing the Batman logo on their racing suits, as will the pit crew and the cars themselves. Similar campaigns involved the Toyota team in 2008 for the last Batman film and Red Bull for "Superman Returns" in 2006.

"This season we have been the dark horses in the championship fight," said Lotus F1 chief Eric Boullier. "So this partnership with The Dark Knight Rises is a fantastic match." "Our car, the E20, looks superb with the Batman branding and we are looking forward to seeing the reaction of our numerous fans when it takes to the Silverstone circuit this weekend." As part of the promotion, the gigantic Tumbler Batmobile will be on hand for the race this weekend, along with the Batpod motorcycle.
