Lotus is planning on stealing the show at this week's Pebble Beach event in Monterey. The British automaker has just confirmed that they will unveil their Evora GTE Road Car concept for the first time. The Evora GTE will be joined by the limited production final edition of the Matte Black Exige. The Evora GTE concept puts out over 420hp and was initially developed for racing competition.

It uses a 4.0-liter V6 engine that was probably detuned to keep it street legal, coupled with a sequential AMT racing transmission. It sits on ultra-lightweight forged alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires. Lotus wants to race the Evora GTE in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and this concept is basically the street legal version of the Evora GTE racecar. The Lotus Exige Matte Black Final Edition will debut at the Peter Hay Hill. Only 25 units were produced of the 256hp Exige. The car is totally blacked-out, with black Alcantara sports seats complementing the matte black exterior finish.

The Lotus Evora GTE concept will debut at the McCall's Motorworks Revival event this Wednesday. The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in Monterey, California is scheduled to begin this Wednesday and will continue through the weekend.
