Let's be honest: BMW doesn't exactly have the best-looking SUVs on the planet. Compared to say, Land Rover, the German automaker's best work is certainly with its sedans and sports cars. Still, BMWs like the new 2014 X5 are fine machines, but when they become the subject for some aftermarket tuners, things can get a little out of hand in the styling department. Such is the case with the latest work from the folks over at German tuner Lumma Design, called the X5 F15.

The tuner's new X5 project comes with some large front air intakes, unique front and rear bumpers, more pronounced wheel arches and wider side skirts. Those big new alloy rims measure in at 23". The outrageous styling continues with the newly reupholstered interior that now features plenty of splashes of red and charcoal grey. Fortunately, buyers will have their choice of interior colors if the pictured combination doesn't work for you. No mention was made of any engine modifications. Lumma claims the kit will be available beginning next March and it will even come with a pair of driving gloves.
