Over the past few decades, BMW's M Motorsport division has played an increasing role in the company's overall function, especially when it comes to producing its most desirable halo cars and performance machines. One of the things that M cars were always noted for was their unique sounds, which set them apart even from the standard BMW models they were based on. Now, this video offers us an audible chance to listen to the evolution of these incredible sound machines, from the 1972 3.0 CSL to our current M6 Coupe.
