Made in China: Pagani Huayra Roadster Replica Will Make You Laugh or Cry

More eye hurt from the Far East.

This is about a bad a replica as you’re likely to see all day. It emanates from China, where an independent coachbuilder with an obvious sense of humor decided to create a replica of a Pagani Huayra Roadster – beating the Italian carmaker to the punch. The real deal won't be out for another couple of years. Replicating products that aren’t out yet isn’t a new practice in China, but they normally try a bit harder than this.

From the heavily tinted and oddly narrow windscreen to the lack of signature styling cues like the quad exhaust and lady-eye wing mirrors, this is a half-hearted effort at best. There’s no news on what car was used as a donor or how long it took to build. We're thinking weeks, not months.
