Police paid off with one-second Rubik's cuber trick.
Driving 42 mph in a 30 mph speed zone in the late hours of the night is hardly a heinous criminal act. But when Scotia police officers pulled over 23-year-old magician Steven Brundage they weren’t just stopping him for a friendly chat. He was going to get booked. But then a deck of cards in the passenger seat caught their eye. After Brundage revealed he was a magician, they wanted to see a trick. While it wasn’t made implicit that cool trick = no ticket, that’s how it played out.
The trick is pretty cool and thanks to one of the cops who filmed it on his phone, you can see it here.
