In case you've been hiding out in the mountains with no internet for the past six months, 2022 is BMW M's 50th anniversary. To celebrate the occasion, there's been a new M4 CSL, special badging, and special editions M3s and M4s, along with heritage colors and a ton of cool behind-the-scenes looks at CSL prototypes that never made production. We've even seen crazy customization from the M department in the form of a see-through M cutout on the hood of an M4. But now there's another customization option from the Munich-based masters of speed, as you can now equip your BMW M4 Coupe with a black graphics package that ensures it does not blend into the crowd at your local Cars and Coffee.

Taking influence from the exposed carbon stripes on the hood of the M4 CSL, this new graphics package adds prominent black decals on the hood along the twin power bulges, with subtle, slender black accents on either side to accent the shapely hood. Down the center, an M4 insignia stands proudly in the color of your paintwork, and right in the sport where the aforementioned see-through M cutout was spotted previously.

At the rear of the car, the entire trunk lid is blacked out, save for a large M4 cutout. The car's roof retains its exposed carbon fiber look.

It's available on all M4 Coupes, regardless of whether you choose regular or Competition flavors.

Currently, the package is only available to order in Europe, but we have no doubt if you're willing to wait long enough, your local BMW dealer can pull some strings to get the package on your US-bound M4 Coupe. Naturally, since the package is black, it can't be specced with the Black Sapphire Metallic paintwork. But all other hues can be selected with the package, including Skyscraper Grey, making for a menacing look. The car showcasing the package in the pictures you see here wears the vivid shade of Mexico Blue. In Europe, the package costs 1,800 euros - approximately $1,870 at current exchange rates.

There's no word yet on whether similar packages will be made available for other M models, but with demand peaking for the 50th-anniversary celebrations, we wouldn't rule out the possibility.
