Everyone has a bad day from time to time, but it's how they’re handled that makes all of the difference. That message didn’t get across too well to the employee of the Silver Diner in McLean, Virginia. One of its employees repeatedly smashed a Hummer H2 into the restaurant, hitting a patron on the second impact and setting the SUV on fire with the third. When onlookers tried to pull the disgruntled driver out of the flaming Hummer, he reportedly tried to fight them off.
The restaurant said that the man had worked there for two years and had never shown signs he would harm anyone. Turns out the employee had been on leave for a month due to a death in the family, but that’s no excuse for nearly killing other innocent people.
