Just three examples will be made.
Mansory has worked its magic on the Ferrari SF90 Spider to create the F9XX Tempesta Celeste, a limited-edition based on the F9XX coupe revealed last year.
This particular model (limited to just three examples) is based on the drop-top version of Ferrari's gorgeous supercar and is surprisingly subtle for a Mansory creation. Subtle, in Mansory terms, is still considered OTT in the rest of the automotive world. As you can see, the sleek bodywork has been fitted with several forged carbon accessories, but it's not all for show.
You'll notice the enlarged air intakes and a new front lip up front. The former establishes high-performance airflow into the radiators, while the latter provides improved downforce on the front axle. Similarly, the full carbon fiber hood channels plenty of air to the power unit housed beneath.
At the rear, you'll find a new double diffuser and rear bumper. It's not aesthetically satisfying, but Mansory claims the components deliver "perfect guidance" of the airflow beneath the vehicle. The split rear spoiler also increased downforce on the rear axle, while a four-pipe exhaust system looks more menacing than Ferrari's standard dual-pipe setup.
The one-piece YT.5 Air ultra-light forged wheels that measure 21 inches up front and 22 inches at the rear tie everything together. These intricate alloys are wrapped in 255/30 and 335/25 high-performance tires at the front and rear, respectively.
It's no shrinking violet, but compared to other creations from Mansory, the grey-painted Tempesta Celeste can be described as less offensive to human eyeballs.
Mansory fettled with the twin-turbo V8 to produce 967 horsepower and 723 lb-ft of torque. Together with the three electric motors, the Tempesta Celeste has a combined output of 1,085 hp. The tuner notes that no work was carried out on the electric drive, with in-house engineers focusing solely on the 4.0-liter motor.
These performance upgrades have resulted in remarkable performance figures. The Mansory-fettled Ferrari can sprint to 62 mph in 2.4 seconds before reaching a top speed of 220 mph. As a reminder, the standard car hits 62 mph 0.1 seconds later and is limited to 211 mph.
The tuner has also upgraded the interior with new materials, leather, and accessories.
Light blue leather spans the width of the fascia and can be found on the sculpted carbon fiber bucket seats and even the floor mats. It's not very traditional, but it works pretty nicely. Again, it isn't the worst interior we have seen from Mansory.
The center console and trimmings around the air vents receive carbon fiber inlays. The Ferrari steering wheel has been eschewed for a custom Mansory tiller, trimmed in matching leather and carbon fiber. Naturally, the tuner's logo has been embroidered on just about every surface of the cabin.
There's no mention of price, but it will command an almighty premium, given the base car and the rarity of this particular model. With just three in existence, we imagine wealthy extroverts with no taste clamoring over each other to own the Tempesta Celeste.
