The Frankfurt Motor Show has been a hit, for the most part. But the Mansory Gronos Black Edition is not a win. The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is a vehicle that's unlike anything else on the road and it doesn't require an insane body kit to draw more attention to itself. Unfortunately, Mansory had another idea and gave the beast a face that only a mother could love. In terms of performance, the tuning company modified the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 to produce 828 hp and an electronically controlled figure of 737 lb-ft of torque, which was a good idea.

To get to that amount of power, Mansory installed new connecting rods, pistons, big end bearings, cylinder heads, a new crankshaft and more. There's also a new exhaust system with stainless steel double end pipes. So far so good, right? Where Mansory messed up is with the styling changes. The wheel arches have been widened to go along with the new front fascia that includes new headlights, a custom Mansory badge, LED DRLs, as well as revised intakes and grilles.
