Fresh from her victory at the French Open, and fresh from his drive in the Le Mans 24 Hours, tennis babe Maria Sharapova and Porsche 'works' driver Mark Webber hooked up for a prestigious pre-Wimbledon bash, using a Porsche 918 Spyder as their chariot for the night. Webber collected Porsche's hottest ambassador at The Goring Hotel in Belgravia before sprinting to the Kensington Roof Gardens in West London in the carmaker's hybrid hypercar.

Although it can sprint from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds and reach speeds of up to 214 mph, it emits just 72 g/km of CO2 so is exempt from the London Congestion Charge, no doubt a relief to owners of this $900k supercar. Other tennis stars, including Eugenie Bouchard, Victoria Azarenka, and Daniela Hantuchova, had to settle for being chauffeured to the red carpet event in a Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid.
