Following its outstanding year and with great hopes for thesuccess of its new Ghibli and Quattroporte, Maserati is getting ready to rollout two all-new models in the upcoming years. First off the production linewill be the Levante crossover SUV, which will enter showrooms in early 2015.Based on the same architecture as the Quattroporte and Ghibli, the Levante willalso utilize the Quattroporte’s suspension for its all-wheel drive system.
Following further down the line and looking truer toMaserati form, the breathtaking Alfieri concept – which was just unveiled atthe Geneva Motor Show – may be ready for production in as early as 24-28months. Along with its acquisition of Chrysler and rejuvenation of the AlfaRomeo brand, the Fiat corporation is looking to these Maserati models to driveit back to profitability. In 2013, Maserati doubled its worldwide sales to 15,400,but it is looking to reach 50,000 units in 2015.
