Following its outstanding year and with great hopes for the success of its new Ghibli and Quattroporte, Maserati is getting ready to roll out two all-new models in the upcoming years. First off the production line will be the Levante crossover SUV, which will enter showrooms in early 2015. Based on the same architecture as the Quattroporte and Ghibli, the Levante will also utilize the Quattroporte's suspension for its all-wheel drive system.

Following further down the line and looking truer to Maserati form, the breathtaking Alfieri concept – which was just unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show – may be ready for production in as early as 24-28 months. Along with its acquisition of Chrysler and rejuvenation of the Alfa Romeo brand, the Fiat corporation is looking to these Maserati models to drive it back to profitability. In 2013, Maserati doubled its worldwide sales to 15,400, but it is looking to reach 50,000 units in 2015.
