Having spent some time with the Maserati Levante, we couldn't honestly say that it needed more power or a redesign. We were actually rather enamored by the Italian SUV. But now that Novitec has released its vision of a more brutal, athletic Levante, we may have just changed our minds. The Esteso widebody kit looks the business, with its arched fender flares that adds 10 cm of girth, distinctive front and rear bumpers that have been aerodynamically honed and come with spoilers, and naked carbon hood scoop.

The production rear bumper receives an extension component shaped like a diffuser, which is complemented by a carbon rear spoiler, while from the side, the Levante gets a sleeker stance thanks to new rocker panels. 22-inch offset Y-shaped black wheels come wrapped in wide rubber and complete the widebody look perfectly. Novitec also built a control module for the standard air suspension, lowering the height of the Levante by 25 mm, aiding both aesthetics and handling. Output of the twin-turbo V6 has been upped to 494 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque, enabling the sporty SUV to spring to 62 mph in 4.8 seconds en route to a top speed of 170 mph.

The N-Tronic tuning module can also be used to coax more power and torque from Maserati's turbo-diesel engine, while an exclusive leather and Alcantara interior rounds off the aftermarket package.
