Maserati has a whole raft of new vehicles on their way, and recently announced the names for its upcoming Levante SUV and Ghibli sedan. But while those are still in development - along with a new Quattroporte and a rumored GranSport supercar - the Trident marque is keeping us interested with a new version of its convertible GranTurismo. Called the GranCabrio MC, the new top-of-the-line drop-top was released with official photos in the days leading up to the Paris Motor Show.

Now that the doors have opened at the Parisian expo, the new GranCabrio MC has made its public debut. Along with it, the Modenese automaker has released new video footage of the GranCabrio MC (together with the GranCabrio Sport that slots in below it) out in the wild.

Both feature a 4.7-liter version of the V8 which Ferrari builds for Maserati, tuned to 460 horsepower and an open-air four-seat body-style. What differentiates the MC model, however, is the more aggressive aero kit from the track-focused GranTurismo MC Stradale.
