John Hennessey's Venom GT is one supercar sure to grab attention wherever it goes. The 1,200-horsepower monster of a machine takes its inspiration from the iconic Shelby Cobra, built for super-power and light weight. Based on the Lotus Elise and taking its motivation from a modified twin-turbo LS9 V8 engine, it costs just over one million dollars and can (in theory at least) reach a top speed of 272 mph.

Matt Farah's first spin in the Venom GT is a pretty memorable experience to say the least. "Lots of torque, tons of torque!" he initially exclaims. "It's about power to weight, that's it."
