With the all-new 2021 Ford Bronco, Ford is going toe-to-toe with the likes of the Jeep Wrangler, by developing a comprehensive, well-rounded portfolio of official parts and accessories that allow customers to tailor their Broncos to their exact wants and needs.

But if you were hoping for something just a little different, Illinois-based Maxlider Motors - a well-known shop in the world of vintage Bronco restorations - is gearing up to offer a range of customization packages for Ford's latest off-road SUV. The company announced their intention to build custom 2021 Broncos back in July, with a rendering of their modern interpretation of Ford's classic "Nite Edition" Bronco from the 1990s, but that's far from all Maxlider has got cooking.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Maxlider announced that it will offer packages starting from $10k for the new 2021 Ford Bronco. It's not clear what that $10k gets you, but hopefully, the answer is "a lot": that's pretty steep as starting prices go for custom vehicle packages.

Meanwhile, the handsome Area 51-colored Bronco whose rendering accompanied the announcement will run $25k to $35k, "depending on performance and interior enhancements". The SUV depicted features some handsome gloss black beadlock-capable wheels, a roof cargo basket, roof-mounted off-road lights, matte black off-road bumper with still more auxiliary lights, and what appears to be a billet grille. It's an all-around impressive-looking vehicle, assuming you have the means.

Of course, for $25k to $35k, you could buy a second Ford Bronco so you have one for the road and one for the trail, or pick up a JL Wrangler, have it fitted with American Expedition Vehicles' capable JL370 package, and finish with thousands of dollars left over.

But that doesn't necessarily mean Maxlider's 2021 Bronco packages won't be worth it; since first opening its doors a few short years ago, Maxlider has become the country's largest Bronco shop, selling 80 to 100 restored Broncos per year, accumulating 16 employees and numerous accolades along the way. There are worse shops you could entrust with your hard-earned money.

Maxlider is now taking $500 deposits from Bronco customers who wish to reserve their place in line for one of the shop's custom packages.
