If you had your eye on one of the limited-edition Mazda MX-5 Miata 25th Anniversary models, then you're bang out of luck. Mazda has confirmed that all 100 units of the gorgeous little two-seater have sold out. In fact, even some of those that rushed to register interest on the carmaker's pre-order site missed out, as it took just ten minutes for 250 to sign up. Mazda will now get in touch with the first verified 100, who will have the chance to pre-order the limited-edition Miata.

In a press release, Mazda said: "Upon verification of purchase intent and transmission selection, the customer's information will then be forwarded to the dealership of their choosing to finalize the transaction." Retailing for $32,205 with the six-speed manual and $32,655 with the automatic box, all limited edition models are based on the Power Retractable Hard Top (PRHT). The car features an exclusive Soul Red Metallic body paint with black accents, 17-inch gunmetal alloys, and an Almond leather interior boasting a hand-finished decorative panel, "25th Anniversary Edition" badging and aluminum pedals. Buyers will also receive a custom Tourneau watch and display winder box.
