Mazda Went This Far To Show Off The New MX-5's 50-50 Weight Distribution

Mazda is really, really proud of the new MX-5. It has every reason to be, as the fourth-gen model looks amazing and by all accounts is incredible to drive. Mazda is particularly proud of the 50-50 front-to-rear weight distribution it achieved on the 2016 Miata. Just in case someone wants to refute that claim, the automaker constructed a fulcrum and put the MX-5 (with a driver inside) on it. If the car truly does have perfect weight distribution then the fulcrum will remain steady at all times.
