McLaren Special Operations is the carmaker's customization arm, tasked with creating bespoke models for their most discerning clientele. At the end of last year, the McLaren 12C MSO broke cover and the one-off model has now found its way to McLaren Newport Beach in California. The MSO 12C is finished in Alaskan Diamond White with a carbon-fiber stripe running up the hood.

It comes cloaked in other carbon-fiber goodies including front wing louvres, a redesigned hood, and rear wing vents. It also boasts a roof upgraded with a built-in snorkel channeling air to the engine, and a unique air brake. To keep weight down, the car comes with titanium wheel bolts, oil and water filler caps, as well as new lightweight alloys and a carbon-fiber instrument cluster.
