The McLaren MP4-12C GT3 Racecar has been decked-out in Gulf Oil livery and was the first ever McLaren to reach the podium in Macau. The Leeds-based United Autosports team shipped their supercar to Asia the day it was delivered by the British manufacturer and with its new livery, looks incredible. The race ran this past weekend and the MP4-12C was piloted by British driver Danny Watts. In addition to its stunning looks, the MP4-12C ran well and made the podium even without any time for the team to develop their racer.

They finished 3rd out of 30 entrants. Driver Danny Watts commented on the performance of his racer, which ran trouble-free around the 3.80mile course. He said: "I'm very happy with third for the first time here with the McLaren. We've learned a huge amount this weekend, developed it and moved it forward throughout the whole four days, so to get a podium on its début is just fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Every year the standard gets higher and higher, the drivers turn up in better cars all the time, and it's fantastic for the category that twice Macau Formula 3 winner and works DTM driver, Edoardo Montara, turns up in his Audi."
