The capital is apparently home to the first P1 to roll off the Woking assembly line.
OK, so the chassis number may not be 001, but this is the first McLaren P1 to roll off the production line in Woking. Having been delivered to a UK-based customer in September, this is the first sighting of the (first) British supercar on the streets. Finished in yellow with carbon-fiber accents, the P1 was spotted in London by the Supercar Scene Team. Even crawling in the capital’s heavy traffic, the 903-hp hypercar looks and sounds awesome. The smallest of revs results in a cacophony of decibels.
Just imagine the 2.8 second symphony of it sprinting from 0-62 mph. That’s a sound only a privileged few will ever get to here as just 375 units, all now sold, were made priced at $1.35 million.
