While you may find it hard to visually tell them apart from the 650S and 650S Spider they are based on, McLaren has just revealed two new models: the 625C Coupe and 625C Spider. Specifically tailored for the Asian market, these cars are basically detuned 650Ss, offering "greater refinement" from the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine found in the 650S. Power output and performance numbers will be slightly lower for this model than in the 650S, with 616 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque, and 0-62 mph times of 3.1 seconds.

Top speed for both models remains 207 mph. McLaren says that the new " 'C' stands for 'Club', highlighting a more accessible and less extreme model in terms of character". The company has enhanced the car's drivability and efficiency, with new dampers and a revised mechanical balance offering "the most refined ride of any McLaren model to date". The 625C will be launched in Hong Kong before being offered in additional markets in the Asia Pacific region.
