McLaren has revealed an all-new livery ahead of the 2023 Monaco F1 Grand Prix, paying tribute to the incredible feat of winning the Motorsport Triple Crown: victory at the Indianapolis 500, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the Monaco Grand Prix.

Previewed by a three-minute video yesterday showcasing the British automaker's Triple Crown feat, the team today revealed the special livery calling back to its classic racers that competed and won each of the aforementioned events.

Colorwise, thee's traditional McLaren Papaya, white, and dark gray, with the white/orange chevron replicating the iconic Marlboro livery. The Papaya is a nod to the 1974 McLaren M16C/D race car that won Indy 500 that same year, while the white represents the 1984 McLaren MP4/2, a Tag-Porsche-powered race car that won the Monaco GP with Alain Prost at the wheel. The dark gray frontal aspect is the shade worn by the McLaren F1 GTR that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The colors will be worn by the MCL60, which celebrates 60 years since McLaren was founded by Bruce McLaren, at this weekend's Monaco GP. The team has a lot of history in the principality, with more wins than any other at the circuit - 15 since 1984.

Thereafter, the livery will be run in Spain at the start of June.

Not to be left out, Arrow McLaren - the team's IndyCar outfit - will also run special liveries to celebrate.

Accompanying the celebrations, McLaren will share films from its private archives - providing five films looking back at the maiden victories at each of these prestigious races. They will feature commentary from the drivers who won each of them, including Johnny Rutherford (Indy 500). Alain Prost (Monaco GP), JJ Lehto (Le Mans) and the likes of Sir Jackie Stewart and Mario Andretti.

"Having achieved the greatest accomplishment in motorsport by completing the Triple Crown, we are proud to celebrate the rich history of McLaren Racing with a special livery at the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix," says McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown. "In line with our 60th-anniversary celebrations and honoring the legacy of Bruce McLaren, the unique livery pays homage to the three victories which form the Triple Crown accolade."

In celebration of 60 years, the automaker previously unveiled four celebratory McLaren GT units. While the design of each unit is different, the supercars share the same theme that pays homage to the company's Triple Crown accolade.

Of note, McLaren is the only team in motorsports history to bag a Triple Crown. Meanwhile, Founder Bruce McLaren only missed a win at the Indy 500 to complete the said feat. He was victorious at the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix and the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans.
