As the Paris Motor Show draws closer, we now have another early reveal of one of the hottest – or at least cutest – cars expected to be revealed at the event. The Opel Adam S is the sporty version of the manufacturer's city car, one that could easily be billed as a true pocket rocket. The Adam S features a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 150 horsepower at 100hp per-liter. Mated to a six-speed manual transmission, this engine should be enough to make a whole lot of driving fun as it sprints from 0-62mph in 8.5 seconds.

Earlier this year, we told you that the folks at GM were seriously considering turning the little Adam into a baby Buick. In fact, GM may end up bringing both brands even closer together in the future. With the addition of this model and its enhanced suspension, 18-inch wheels, OPC brakes, sporty body kit and Recaro bucket interior – that notion seems a whole lot more appealing.
