We knew it was coming and now California-based Rezvani Motors has officially unleashed the Hercules 6x6 off-roader. And just like its Tank SUV, it's all sorts of crazy. The Rezvani Hercules is the firm's "most extreme and capable model" ever, both in terms of aesthetics and peformance.

Four engines are on offer, including an upgraded version of the V8 engine from the one and only Dodge Demon, now bored and stroked to 7.0-liters and featuring a forged stroker crank and pistons, camshaft, and a Demon supercharger. Total output comes to 1,300 horsepower and 989 lb-ft of torque, making the Hercules the most powerful production-spec 6x6 truck in the world. An eight-speed transmission taken from the Ram 1500 TRX distributes power to all six wheels.

There's also a bulletproof Hercules 6x6 Military Edition available with this engine-transmission combo. More on that edition shortly. The other three available engines include a 285-hp 3.6-liter V6, a 500-hp 6.4-liter SRT V8, and a 3.0-liter turbo diesel with 442 lb-ft of twist. The Hercules boasts a steel body-on-frame design and Rezvani emphasizes it's a perfectly suitable daily driver regardless of which engine is chosen. The on-demand six-wheel-drive system is standard on all four versions and it can switch between 6x2, 6x4, and 6x6 driving modes whenever necessary.

Styling-wise, the exterior was inspired by - you guessed it - military vehicles. Some notable features include rugged fascia, metal bumper, sculpted tailgate, and a roof-mounted LED light bar. The eight-food bed is covered by a standard sculpted metal sport bar that can be finished in bronze to match the wheels.

Step inside and it's all luxury with a custom-stitched Nappa leather package, a suede headliner, and a 9-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay. A set of 37-inch tires, a Fox racing suspension, and a Dana 60 axle set with an air locker and an air compressor will take you anywhere when off-roading.

As for the Military Edition, it's available with all four engines. Best of all, it'll keep you alive and intact thanks to ballistic armor that includes Kevlar, bulletproof glass, and military-grade run-flat tires, underside explosive protection, a self-sealing gas tank, armored radiator, reinforced suspension, sirens and strobe lights, Ram bumpers, video surveillance, gas masks, and electrified door handles.

Pricing? Well, the Hercules, no matter which engine is chosen, is not cheap with a $225,000 starting price for the V6. The Military Edition begins at $325,000.

"The focus of the new Hercules 6x6 was to be athletic in design and stance, have a refined ride and suspension, be the right size to be easily used as a daily driver, have a luxurious interior, and push the envelope in what a six-wheeled truck can be," said Rezvani CEO Ferris Rezvani. "The new Hercules 6x6 is easily the toughest and most powerful production truck in the world."
