The all-new BMW M4 Coupe has just arrived and already there's an ultra-limited edition. Introducing the M4 Competition x Kith, developed in partnership with Ronnie Fieg, founder of Kith, a New York-based lifestyle apparel brand. Fieg also just so happens to be a life-long BMW enthusiast; he drives an E30 M3, pictured below. In fact, Fieg also created a 94-piece The Kith for BMW Collection of apparel and various accessories, all influenced by classic BMW design and his largest collection to date.

As for the limited edition M4 Competition x Kith, the coupe represents the first time BMW has changed its logo for a collaboration effort. Notice the coupe's new fusion logo adds an extra ring around the BMW roundel in BMW M's iconic colors: light blue, dark blue, and red. There's also bright lettering focusing on Kith and the collaboration.

Another restyled feature is the rear decklid, now with a black Kith logo and BMW M stripes. Inside there are Kith-embossed black merino leather seats and multicolor ambient mood lighting. Under the hood lies the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six as the regular M4. Limited to only 150 examples worldwide, just three exterior matte paint colors are offered: Frozen Black, Frozen Dark Silver, and Forest Brilliant White.

"This is not the first time BMW M GmbH has released a limited edition of one of our cars as part of an exclusive collaboration," said Markus Flasch, CEO of BMW M. "The tie-up with Ronnie Fieg and Kith is a great opportunity for BMW M GmbH to bridge the gap between the original BMW M3 and our new BMW M4 Competition Coupe for the sixth generation of this iconic model range."

Not only does Fieg own and drive that stunning red E30 M3, but he also designed and owns a one-off Cinnabar Red M4 Design Study by Kith. "Some of my favorite memories from growing up came from going to visit my grandfather and riding around in his BMWs in the 1980s," Fieg reminisced. "I remember he had an E21 320i and that his prized possession was a white E30 M3. These moments in my life really shaped my passion for BMW, so working on this project with them has brought everything full circle."

Preorders for the 2022 BMW M4 Competition x Kith begin today, October 23, each priced at $109,250, not including destination. Deliveries will begin next year.
