We've heard of a number of companies fighting the current coronavirus pandemic in a number of ways, from monetary donations to changing their production facilities to produce respirators, and in the case of Lamborghini, face masks. But the latest company to get on board with the efforts is a tuning firm that has done something extraordinary.

1016 Industries is a firm based out of Miami, Florida that specializes in the production of forged carbon fiber materials. It has just announced its latest creation will benefit the World Health Organization's efforts. Meet the world's first 100% forged carbon fiber Lamborghini Huracan Evo - a supercar that didn't really need extra aggression, but one we welcome with open arms.

Forged carbon fiber isn't an alien concept for the Huracan, with the Huracan Performante making use of a whole lot of the stuff for its clever aerodynamic systems. But 1016 Industries has gone one step further by adding a range of forged carbon body parts to improve upon the already impressive Huracan Evo.

Among the changes are a carbon fiber rear wing that improves stability at high speeds, a stainless steel center-exit exhaust, a forged carbon fiber hood that shaves eight pounds off the weight, a carbon-fiber roof, and 1016 Industries-designed fenders that are 11 lbs lighter than stock. There's also a new front lip and a new rear diffuser to aid airflow, available in either forged or twill carbon fiber, and buyers can opt for their Huracan Evo in either narrow or widebody format.

There's a bump in power, too, with the exhaust upgrade and other tweaks increasing horsepower by 20 and torque by 19 lb-ft, taking total outputs to 650 hp and 462 lb-ft from the naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10.

But how does all this fight Covid-19? Well, 1016 Industries has taken this opportunity to announce that 10% of the company's sales from now until the end of April will be donated to the WHO in aid of facing the pandemic. The company claims the carbon fiber Evo is something "exotic car collectors are going to absolutely love", allowing the wealthy the opportunity of purchasing something that can contribute towards a great cause in the process.
