The upcoming Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG replacement, the AMG GT, has been an ongoing tease for quite some time now. The car – which is touted by the company as “the most beautiful car we've ever designed" – is expected to feature a “true lightweight” design and an aluminum space frame. The latest issue of Mercedes’ Driving Performance magazine also promises a “staggeringly beautiful rear” and a “muscular, never-ending front.”
AMG CEO Tobias Moers went on to say that "the Mercedes AMG GT is an all-rounder with extremely sporty aspirations. Yet it's comfortable and can easily be used for everyday driving." According to previous reports, the model – geared directly at the Porsche 911 – will feature a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine producing approximately 520 horsepower.
