Mercedes AMG GT3 Edition 50 Limited To Just 5 Units Worldwide

Anniversary

Get it while its hot.

As a 50th birthday present to itself, Mercedes-AMG has created this highly exclusive AMG GT 3 Edition 50 that comes packing a host of unique features. Limited to just five units, the car will appeal to racing-enthusiast car collectors wanting to stand out on the track. With a quadruple victory at the Nurburgring 24 Hours in 2016 among its achievements, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 is one of the most successful customer sports racing cars in the world.

The Edition 50 is distinguished by a special paint finish worn by an AMG car for the very first time, combined with a new “real black” color found on the “50 YEARS AMG” emblem on the hood. The matte black finish also features on the carbon-fiber elements of the car, including the front and rear diffuser, rear aerofoil, air intakes, flics at the front, radiator grille and side skirts. The AMG logo also appears on the disc band and rear aerofoil, while a silver-framed logo “50 YEARS OF DRIVING PERFORMANCE” appears on the doors in finely-grained carbon fiber. An open Performance exhaust system has also been added without a restrictor to ensure optimized performance and a lot more noise.

The interior of the AMG GT3 Edition 50 also boasts exclusive details. The unique “real black” coats the roll cage and visible floor assembly, matte black carbon fiber adorns the dashboard, sills, door panels, vent pipe and center console, and for contrast silver has been used for the six-point seat belt and racing steering wheel. Other unique touches include a carbon-fiber safety cell, AMG logos, and “Edition 50 – 1 of 5” badge. The five lucky owners of the car will also receive an Ingenieur Chronograph Sport Edition "50th Anniversary of Mercedes-AMG" watch from IWC Schaffhausen matching the style of the vehicle.
