Forza Horizon 5 has only been out for a few days, but it's already off to a strong start. Playground Games' latest open-world racing extravaganza launched to rave reviews and was the largest launch day for an Xbox Game Studios title ever. Set in an open-world recreation of Mexico,

The video game features over 500 cars to collect and drive across diverse landscapes. One of the star cars is the Mercedes-AMG One hypercar, which graces the cover alongside the Ford Bronco. AMG even designed an exclusive livery for the game's version of the hypercar.

Technically, the production version hasn't been revealed yet, but Forza Horizon 5 lets you virtually experience AMG's insane hypercar before deliveries begin. Mercedes-AMG hasn't released the final specs yet, but they may have already leaked in Forza Horizon 5. In the car selection screen, the Mercedes-AMG One is listed with 877 horsepower and 535 lb-ft of torque. It also weighs 3,737 pounds according to Forza Horizon 5.

These performance specs fall significantly short of Mercedes-AMG's estimations. Although the final specs haven't been confirmed yet, AMG initially said the One will have 1,000 horsepower when the prototype was revealed, but reports have suggested the production version could have over 1,200 hp.

All that power will be sourced from a 1.6-liter V6 plug-in hybrid powertrain adapted from Mercedes' Formula 1 car. With testing still underway, AMG still hasn't announced the final performance figures. It's possible that AMG supplied the developers with preliminary specs of the production version, but it would have made more sense to use the initial prototype's 1,000 figure, so we're not sure where the 877 hp figure came from.

Unfortunately, it may be a while until we find out the final performance specs. Deliveries of the AMG One have reportedly been delayed until 2022 as AMG is finetuning the powertrain to meet emissions targets.
