Benz tuning specialist Vath delivers a host of aftermarket goodies for the A Class.
Bavarian-based Mercedes tuning specialist Vath has unveiled its latest aftermarket program for the A Class. Dubbed the V25 and based on the A250, the package includes fine tuning of the 2.0-liter turbo engine that boosts output to 245 horsepower and 288 pound-feet of torque, up from 211 hp and 258 lb-ft, for a new 0-62 mph time of 5.9 seconds and top speed of 155 mph. At the back a new stainless-steel exhaust system consists of a new downpipe, 200-cell catalyst and rear silencer with remote-able valve control.
Other performance mods include a 30-mm lowered suspension, upgraded brakes and 19 inch alloys, while visual upgrades are limited to a carbon-fiber front lip spoiler and leather-wrapped sports steering wheels with carbon or fine wood trim available upon request. Interested parties keen on all the modifications will have to pay in excess of 11,000 Euros for the privilege.
