Anyone even remotely aware of the fact that such a thing as a fashion industry exists knows that the thing it's best at is taking itself entirely too seriously. The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week ever year results in slews of ridiculous and pretentious promotional videos. So Mercedes has decided to mock them all using a bunch of fashion industry people (most notably Justin O'Shea, buying director for mytheresa.com) and a C111 prototype car.
The short is called "Fistful of Wolves," which is supposed to sound absurd. The car looks cool, cliches are mocked and Mercedes proves that Germans have a sense of humor after all. Well done.
